Which is why we have come up with a genius list of ideas that will occupy your mind and body until this self-quarantine order has been lifted. *Disclaimer* These may not appeal to everyone in our audience, but hopefully you can find a few things that will help you beat the doldrums of for another month or so until we can get back outside, be around other humans and soak up that Vitamin D.

Learn a New Skill: Being out of work is hard! However, maybe this will offer you the perfect chance to change the course of your life, if you so desire. There are thousands of classes on line that teach skills. If you are currently unable to work, make time to develop a skill that has always been of interest to you. Take up woodworking, painting, drawing, photography or writing. Learn to play an instrument or improve your skill in an instrument you already have. Take notice of the things that are beautiful to you and find a way to make it into something more. For instance, if you love a specific photograph that hangs in your home try to put it on canvas. It may not be perfect, but it will take up some of your time and may bring you unexpected joy.

Tease your Brain: Try out a puzzle, learn a new board or card game. Do things away from the screen. For instance, if you enjoy figuring things out, learn how to change the oil in your car, or repair a mechanical issue. Start a blog or a YouTube channel on something you are passionate about. There are so many resources you can use to exercise your brain while away from work or spending time at home.

Many people find joy in music: Music makes people happy. Throw on some headphones or blast the radio while you are sitting around, running, dancing or even doing a chores. Music will instantly lift your mood. There are many opportunities to have a “private” concert with a favorite artist as people are taking to Instagram and Twitter to share their talents. Take advantage of this. Try a different genre of music that takes you on a journey, Spanish or French music, for instance, can transport you to another place. There are even orchestral performances that have free concerts throughout the next few months. There is no better time to be able to see these beautiful works of art than from your home office.

Podcasts: There are thousands of podcasts out there. You could probably get through a few of them from start to finish with this quarantine. Pick a few favorites to listen to when nothing else seems to be working. One of my favorites is My Favorite Murder. A comedy murder podcast. It takes a little getting used to, but if its your cup of tea, it will entertain for hours. You could also take up audio books. They are a great way to listen to your favorite books while working around the house, in the care or even as you are falling asleep. Your local library has an app that you can download and get audio books for free, or you can use one of the many services available with a subscription.

Get Your Virtual Tour On: There have been posts popping up all over the place with museums, farms, and even the Sistine Chapel offering free virtual tours. This a perfect way to exercise your mind and keep your spirits up by focusing on the beauty that exists in this world.

Be Grateful: I know its hard to do when we are all worried about our health, our jobs, the economy and the world in general. But take a minute to start a gratitude journal. Try to write down one thing a day. You may be surprised at everything you have to be grateful for.

Occupy Your Body:

Organize/Clean: Its about the time for spring cleaning. Take this extra “mandated” time at home to get rid of things that don’t bring you joy as Marie Kondo would suggest. Old paperwork, photos, books, etc. Create something with them or remove them from your life. When you take time to de-clutter your home, your mind will often take the journey as well and you are better able to focus on work, friends, family or whatever else matters most to you.

Make-up Tutorials: Again, there are thousands of make-up tutorials to occupy your time. You can go from frumpy work from home (like me) to glam in a matter of minutes. Give it a shot. You may just impress someone. Plus, despite how it feels, this won’t last forever, you will eventually get back to real life, and work.

Lose that weight you have been stressing about using exercise. No joke. You don’t get to see your crush for a month. Make that month matter. Exercise at home with these at home exercise videos for beginners or get more intense with videos for a more intermediate level. You can even try dancing. Get outside for a hike or run. There are so many options outside of the gym.

Make food at home and learn what you can about what is most nutritious for your body. While everyone has the same general guidelines, make decisions that work for you and your body. Use this month to eat healthier. There is not a pressing reason to go out to eat, so try to avoid it. Make food at home and learn what you can about what is most nutritious for your body. While everyone has the same general guidelines, make decisions that work for you and your body.

Find New Recipes: There are a million and one bloggers out there offering copy-cat recipes for your favorite menu items, healthier versions of your favorite foods, and brand new recipes you may have never even considered. This is an awesome time to up your cooking/baking game. Impress a significant other or spouse by creating a beautiful version of their favorite food, or find a new favorite. The possibilities are literally endless.

Learn to Garden: There is no better time to learn about gardening. This can prove beneficial to your health, and your food storage. Having healthy, home grown fruits and vegetables to eat will make a world of difference in your both your mental state and overall well-being. Even if you don’t think you have a green thumb, do some research and you may find a method that works for you. Create an indoor garden if you are renting or don’t have the space for a real outdoor garden.

Have you checked out the Fergie MILF Song yet?

Fergie Ferg is back at it again, she just dropped a new song called, “M.I.L.F. $” along with a star-studded music video. Included in the Fergie MILF song music video is a ton of gorgeous celebrity mothers including Kim Kardashian, Ciara, Alessandra Ambrosio, Chrissy Teigen and more.

Fergie’s milfshake is bringing all the boys to the yard with MILF$, her first single since 2014 when she did “L.A. Love (La La).” MILF$ is said to be featured on her upcoming solo album called, Double Duchess.

Fergie MILF Song Music Video

The Fergie MILF song music video opens with a milfman set in the 50’s driving through a very cliché suburban neighborhood surprised and starring at all the MILF’s along the way.

The Fergie MILF song music video has eyebrows arching everywhere with Kim Kardashian taking a milk shower, Fergie in a milk bath, Chrissy Teigen breastfeeding her two-month-old baby Luna, Got Milk ads by ultra-famous mommies, and more. You really can’t explain this video to anyone. One must see it to know. Watch below!

What does MILF stand for? Well, let’s go over it below:

MILF

/ˈmilf/

noun vulgar slang

a sexually attractive older woman, typically one who has children.

*Stands for Mom I’d Like to Follow…right? Well, that’s what Fergie is claiming her song name stands for.

[It’s] about empowering women who do it all,’ Fergie said when asked about the song. ‘They have a career, a family, and still find the time to take care of themselves and feel sexy.’

Fergie and Husband Josh Duhamel

Fergie became a MILF about two years ago when she had her son Axl with husband Josh Duhamel. Ever since her son Axl was born back in 2013, he has been melting millions of hearts on Fergie’s Instagram. Check out her Instagram here. The couple has done one of the hardest things you can do…be celebrities and stay married! They have now been married for seven years and together for thirteen years and earlier this year Josh said this of his relationship to Fergie, “You know, we still really really like each other, that’s important.” Well hats off to them for staying together and being as cute as ever.

What did you think about the Fergie MILF song and music video? Some find it empowering while some find it sexist.

Tell us what you think in the comments below!

Once upon a time, there was no rock and roll. The closest thing to rock was blues from the Southern American states. Back in the 1960s, blues was considered dangerous music for the mainstream people to listen to. And then came two bands that forever changed the face of the musical map – the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.

Music, culture, selfexpression and life in the mainstream never were the same again. Despite the phenomenal success of modern rock bands, none can ever claim to have changed the world so much as the Beatles and the Stones. The Beatles split in 1970 but the Stones rocked and rolled on. Music fans still have a chance to see these icons in action with Rolling Stones tickets for their final worldwide tour.

How Important Are the Stones?

How important are the Rolling Stones to history? You might as well ask how important the Pyramids are to Egypt. As far as rock music goes, the Rolling Stones currently sit at the top of the rock and roll pyramid. They aren’t just a band – they are a transformative meme for anyone raised in the 1960s or 1970s.

Imagine yourself walking through the streets of just about any English city. You decide to have a pint at a charming local pub. You get talking to the locals. Suddenly, one gent narrows his eyes, leans in close and asks, “Beatles or Stones?

” The answer you give will be important than what political party you vote for, what education you have or what religion you practice. THAT’s how important the Stones are, baby!”

What Being a Rolling Stones Fan Means

So, let’s go back to this hypothetical conversation in the hypothetical English pub. What if you answered “Stones!” What did you just reveal about yourself? You’ve claimed that being a fans of Stones music, you also approve and most likely follow (or at least wished you followed) the Stones’ music and lifestyles.

You do your own thing, you do it well and you don’t give a tinker’s about what anybody else thinks. For example, the Stones were the first group to sing openly about one night stands. “Let’s Spend the Night Together” may seem tame and incredibly polite by today’s pop and rock lyrical standards, but it was downright knockyouonthefloor shocking back when first released in 1967. When the Stones performed on the Ed Sullivan Show, they were forced to sing “Let’s spend some time together” in order to cater to American audiences. Mick Jagger did, but not without a sneer and an eyeroll worthy of a Roman Emperor.

Not Just the AntiBeatles

The Beatles may be considered more influential and more popular, but the Stones were and still are icons to people who greatly prize their own individuality but also who enjoy the Holy Musical Trinity of Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll. Back in the 1960s, the Stones were considered the AntiBeatles because they were not cleancut cheeky lads. They were rougher. They didn’t run from fans but would even knock one out on occasion, as lead guitarist Keith Richards once did to an overexuberant touchyfeely fan in 1981. When he ran onstage to embrace Richards, the guitarist bashed the fan over the head with the guitar, placed the instrument back on and jumped right back into “Can’t Get No Satisfaction.” And that’s the way it’s done, kids.

The music world lost many of its greats in 2012 whose contribution to music will never be forgotten. Here are just a few of the legends we said goodbye to in the past year.

Levon Helm

One of the 1960’s most beloved musicians, Levon Helm , singer and drummer for The Band, succumbed to cancer on April 19th at the age of 71. His unique voice helped make songs like “The Weight” and “Up on Cripple Creek” the hits that they remain even to this day. In his later years his career revolved around his “Midnight Rambles,” jam sessions with a variety of fellow musicians at his studio and home in Woodstock, NY. In 2007 he earned a Grammy for his album ”Dirt Farmer” and one year later was included in Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Singers of all Time.

Adam Yauch

The world was shocked to hear of the passing of Adam Yauch on August 5, 2012. The Beastie Boys member also known as MCA, died of cancer at the young age of 47. Aside from his work with the Beastie Boys, Yauch also founded Oscilloscope Laboratories; a New York City based film production and distribution company and was an avid human rights activist. The Beastie Boys have sold over 40 million records worldwide and in 2012 were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Ronnie Montrose

American rock guitarist Ronnie Montrose played with a vast array of bands throughout his career as well as leading his own groups. He’s contributed to albums by musical legends such as Van Morrison, Herbie Hancock, The Neville Brothers, Johnny Winter and Edgar Winter. Montrose toured until 2009 when his battle with prostate cancer forced him to retire. He died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on March 3rd, he was 64 years old.

Etta James

Legendary singer, Etta James, passed away on January 20th, 2012 after battling leukemia. The “At Last” singer received 6 Grammys and 17 Blues Music Awards throughout her long career and in was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993. She is credited with bridging the gap between rock and roll and rhythm and blues and was ranked by Rolling Stone at 62 on their list of the 100 Greatest Artists of all time.

Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston was found dead in a hotel bathtub on February 11th at the young age of 48. The singer had long battled drug addiction but her personal struggles could not detract from her astounding professional career. In 2009 she was declared the most awarded female act of all time by Guinness World Records and has sold over 170 million records. Aside from her musical career Houston was also a successful actress, appearing in movies like “The Bodyguard”, producer and a model.

Donna Summer

The queen of disco, Donna Summer, passed away on May 17th after a long battle with lung cancer at the age of 63. The singer and songwriter was one of disco’s most successful acts with hits like “Love to Love You Baby” and “Hot Stuff.” Summers started her career in the 1960’s as a performer in the musical “Hair” as well as the lead singer of a psychedelic rock band called Crow. Summers won 5 Grammys throughout the course of her career and will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this coming spring.
