I got a chance to pin down the gorgeous Kira Omans for a one-on-one interview! She is beautiful inside and out, smart, very motivated and of course…glam!

1) Kira Omans! Let’s start with the most Glam part of your resume! What has it been like to be a World Health Ambassador USA (WHA) and to be part of Devotion to Children? How has it touched you, changed you? What is your favorite or most memorable moments of working with these organizations?

Being the spokesperson of a non-profit was one of my life goals, so I’m ecstatic to be living this dream with Devotion to Children.  As someone who was adopted, I am very familiar with the tragic situations that economically disadvantaged families face.  Last year, I attended the Red, Heart & Soul Gala and met a few children whose lives were forever changed by Devotion to Children, and I knew that this organization was special.  Rosemary Tran Lauer (Devotion’s founder and president) has taken me under her wing, and I’ve become her protégé of sorts, which is an honor.  I’m a stronger, smarter, and more compassionate woman because of it.

I only recently became a representative for World Health Ambassadors, but after emceeing their annual gala, I was inspired by their pure selflessness and dedication.  WHA provides no-cost humanitarian relief to communities that are in desperate need of medical assistance.  It is a privilege to represent the principles that are deeply rooted in these non-profits.

2) What or who inspires you, gives you drive and motivates you?

I have an extraordinary support system.  My family, friends, teachers, and students all motivate me to reach my potential.  I’ve also gained a large following since winning the pageant.  Social media makes it easy to connect with people who support my work and hear their stories, which inspires me even further.

I’m also very self-motivated.  My parents have always challenged me to take the high road.  Set ambitious goals, then develop the work ethic, the talent, and a realistic path to achieve them.

3) Congratulations on your 2015 Pacific Miss Asian American win! What are some of your favorite experiences you got after being crowned?

Thank you so much!  I’ve had some incredible modeling and acting opportunities since being crowned.  I have also emceed a Congressional press conference, appeared on a White House webcast, and attended Dior’s grand opening in Washington D.C.  Furthermore, I’ve extended my platform of intercultural understanding by connecting with adoptees globally and speaking at various conferences.

Aside from fancy events, though, a lot of simple, honest moments have made my reign special.  Like six-year old girls recognizing me at the mall.  And my students saying that they’re my biggest fans because they Googled me last night.  And all my failed adventures with fake eyelashes.

4) For anyone out there who is not familiar with beauty pageants, can you explain what it is, what it means to you?

Beauty pageants can get a bad rep for objectifying women, but today’s pageants are about so much more than a healthy appearance.  Every pageant contestant is intelligent enough to respond to current event questions on the spot.  She is talented enough to perform before hundreds of spectators.  She is compassionate enough to work well with the mix of personalities this business attracts.  She is confident enough to stand out among dozens of other beautiful contestants.

These qualities define successful women in today’s society.  These are the qualities that the modern beauty pageant promotes.

I never saw myself competing in (let alone winning) one.  I originally entered for the community outreach and career opportunities, but this journey has made me a stronger and more confident woman.  Growing up, I was very quiet.  If you told any of my middle school peers that I’m off winning pageants and pursuing an acting career, they wouldn’t believe you.  Holding the Pacific Miss Asian American title has empowered me to become an active voice in my community, fearlessly follow my dreams, and to help others do the same.

5) How would your best friends describe you?

I thought they’d describe me as a hardcore car dancer who laughs at stupid jokes and prefers take-out/movie nights to big parties.  I consulted my best friend, though, and she says:

Kira is incredibly ambitious and kind, and she holds herself with so much poise in public.  But around her close friends, she’s excitable and likes to geek out over little things. She pushes through the toughest times.  She can be meticulous to a fault.  This girl works so hard, and yes, she’s busy, but if you need her, she will not turn her back on a friend.

She’s the best person to celebrate the small and large victories of life with, and once you have her as your friend, you’ll never want to go back to a time when you weren’t together. Because as much as you are a part of her fan club, it feels great to have her as a part of yours.

This is so cheesy, but it made me tear up a little.

6) What is your #1 go-to beauty tip that you would like to share with our got-glammers?

Drinking lots of water and exercising never fails to make me feel more beautiful!

I also get asked about hair a lot.  For voluptuous pageant hair, I got my hair cut in layers (length weighs down curls), used volumizing mousse (I use Suave or Herbel Essences), and curled each layer.  Gently combing through the curls also makes it appear more natural and even bigger!

7) One of my favorite questions…will you please turn your purse upside down and tell us what’s inside your purse?! Down to the last receipt or parking pass?

I carry a clutch, so it’s not much!  I have my phone, a stack of business cards, hair ties, extra contacts, oil blotters, a perfume stick, and two Chapsticks (I don’t even know).  I found old valet tickets from DC Fashion Week and Howard Theater.  Panera and Target gift cards!  Basic stuff like my license, student ID, insurance cards, credit card, and cash.  You can also usually spot me with sunglasses, keys, and a water bottle.

8) You have an impressive resume, which industry or job has been your favorite so far?

Thank you!  Everything in the entertainment industry has been thrilling.  I am primarily an actress, though I also really enjoy modeling and dancing.  My favorite jobs have been starring in action films.  I’m a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo, and I love Krav Maga, so any chance I can use my martial arts experience with my acting training is a blast!

9) Where were you born? Where did you grow up? Name 3 pop-culture references that can sum up your childhood.

I was adopted from Zhongshan, China when I was ten months old, and I grew up outside of Washington D.C.  My three pop-culture references would have to be (1) Mulan – I could quote that entire movie, (2) orange Blockbuster VHS tapes, and (3) Gameboy Advanced.  A true 90s kid childhood.

10) Favorite food?

Pasta and seafood!

11) What makes a good role model?

Good role models are multifaceted leaders who genuinely care about other people.  They are passionate about what they do, and their work inspires others personally and professionally.  They are unique and confident in their uniqueness.  I look up to people who are strikingly brilliant, quietly confident, and endearingly humble.

12) What is your morning routine like?

Aside from washing up and eating breakfast, I always check my e-mails and all my social media outlets in the morning.  I actually get ready for the day pretty fast, but I’m definitely one of those people who takes either too much or too little time picking what clothes to wear.

13) Are you in a relationship? If not, what type of person or traits are you attracted to? 

No, and I’m not actively searching, but if someone comes along who makes me feel something special, I’ll give it everything I have.

I value subtle, natural charm.  I’m attracted to men who are confident without needing to be the center of attention and who aren’t threatened by my ambition.  Someone who takes care of himself.  I’m really drawn to men who challenge me intellectually, but at the end of the day, I need someone who makes me laugh, helps me finish a tub of ice cream, and occasionally lets me slaughter them in Mario Kart.

14) What events, projects, or anything do you have coming up that we can look forward to/follow you/watch you on?

I just finished performing in a Capital Fringe musical, so now I’m onto more films, photoshoots, and advocacy events.  All my latest projects are posted on www.kiraomans.com.  I will also be crowning the new Pacific Miss Asian Alliance on September 23^rd (two days before my 21^st birthday)!

15) What does it mean to you to be an ambassador and spokesperson for the Asian American community?

I love the quote, “Be the person you needed as a child” because I feel that it answers this question simply and honestly.  Growing up, I didn’t see a lot of people who looked like me in the public eye, so being in a position to influence positive change is a dream.  Now, when my students Google me and say, “If Miss Kira can do it, so can I,” I realize that was the goal all along.

Representing Asian Americans and adoptees is an honor and privilege that I take very seriously.  I didn’t set out to become a public figure, but now that my work has led me here, I will use my voice to represent people who are often overlooked – whether this is in the entertainment industry or simply in the public eye.  I will do everything in my power to promote positivity, empowerment, and intercultural understanding.

Bella Roche – Our New Favorite Custom Jeweler In The OC

Recently I had the chance of sitting and speaking with Lorelei Romero, the co-founder of Bella Roche, and I can’t wait to share with you some of the genius jewelry that she has been hand making. Her best friend Lauri and her decided to great a home-based business that involved designing and making hand-crafted one-of-a-kind jewelry. She has created multiple collections of very custom pieces ranging from bracelets to necklaces, and some really cool rings with huge natural stones on them. One of the styles she goes for is crystal with stone that you wouldn’t normally see together by “transforming beautiful stones into wearable art”. Lorelei’s collection can be found across the USA at CERI Boutique in Boston, MA along with other hand picked outlets.

Lorelei founded Bella Roche to offer eclectic and unique jewelry to enhance each individual’s own personal style.

So where have you seen her and her collection? The national TV station Bravo did a dedicated episode about Bella Roche within the Real Housewives of Orange County series which airs around the US and can be viewed anywhere in the world via DVD or streaming.

Perhaps one of my favorite collections is her collection of jewelry that includes mini playing cards that are hand painted on bone that add up to 21, thus making them lucky similar to black jack. This also happens to be one of her more popular collections which she sells on her website along with private clients as she does with her other lines. Some of her pieces are upwards of the $1500 range and some may be a bit lower depending on what you are looking at. Her collections also have some pretty cool names such as her Sage collection which she named after her daughter and the K.T. collection which is named after her son who helps hand make some of the jewelry with her.

In the future Lorelei hopes to be able to take her collections to major luxury retailers like Neiman Marcus and Nordstroms, but she truly does care about the quality and uniqueness of each piece and does not desire to mass produce these. With her fully opted in of over 900 interested individuals, she has a high-end client and fan base to market future creations of hers and continue the brands climb into the luxury space. Currently Lorelei travels throughout Europe and Asia to find beautiful pendants and gemstones that she can utilize for more pieces.

This Victoria’s Secret Angel and Burberry model is also an actress from Transformers: Dark of the Moon. She has graced many runways and magazine covers but according to her she wasn’t always so glamorous, especially as a young teenager from a farm in Devon, England. “I was a bit of an Ugly Betty when I was 15,” she says. With braces and all, she started as an intern at a modeling agency doing everything but modeling. It wasn’t until a new agent started and saw potential.

“I was obsessed with fashion,” she admitted. “I was just fascinated by these images and the photo shoots – and what went into that, what happened behind the scenes. How you create that glamour and mystery and the theatrical nature of the picture – that was what really interested me and my bedroom was just full of pictures of models and tear-outs from magazines,’ she said. She particularly looked up to super-models, Gisele Bundchen and Kate Moss.

When she was 18 she moved to New York and immediately became a Victoria’s Secret angel. Who does that?! Gorgeous people like her, that’s who! Just 3 years later, she became the new face of Burberry. “To be 21, working with Mario Testino and Christopher Bailey, it was a milestone moment,” she says. This past fall, she was featured on Burberry billboards everywhere from Herald Square in New York to the Musée d’Orsay in Paris.

This year has been just like all the rest for miss Rosie, since she started her career…successful. Back in August she launched her first lingerie collection in a partnership with Marks & Spencer. Given her years modeling lingerie for everyone from Victoria’s Secret to Agent Provocateur, we’re sure she knows a thing or two about what makes good, wearable lingerie. She made an appearance at the Marks & Spencer store on London’s Oxford Street to officially unveil the 33-piece collection, which she said were created with women of ‘all shapes and sizes’ in mind. The collection consists of silk lingerie sets, camisoles and French knickers and kimono-style robes decorated with rose-print motifs and deco-inspired detailing.

‘M&S is an iconic British brand, adored by many so I’m very excited to be launching my debut lingerie line with them,’ said Rosie. She went on to say that, ‘To find inspiration for the collection I trawled my favourite vintage shops and flea markets in London, LA and Paris where I found a treasure trove of gorgeous clothes and ornate pieces of jewellery, as well as pictures and patterns found in old design books and fashion magazines. I was particularly drawn to the opulent elegance of the Twenties era which really shows in my designs from the sumptuous silks I chose to the intricate deco-inspired embroidery detailing on the garments. ‘The palette was not only inspired by my favourite Twenties pieces, but also it was largely influenced by the rich colours of different types of roses. From the muted tones of dusky pink and green through to dramatic scarlet blooms, I wanted the palette to evoke the beauty of a gorgeous British garden in summer. I also drew on my experiences as a model to create lingerie pieces that work on the body and are as comfortable to wear as they are beautiful. My goal was to create a luxurious collection which could flatter women of all ages and sizes, inspiring confidence and making women feel gorgeous in their lingerie. I made sure each design incorporated different shapes of bra and knicker together with camis and kimonos to complement the figure.’

M&S said that Rosie’s collection called, ‘For Autograph’ encompasses the chic and sophisticated look synonymous with the Autograph brand, combined with the expertise and inspiration drawn from Rosie’s extensive experience in the fashion industry’. M&S head of design for lingerie, Soozie Jenkinson said, ‘It’s been a great experience working together with Rosie. She is as passionate about beautiful lingerie as we are. We have combined Rosie’s ideas with our extensive expertise in lingerie design and development to create a truly luxurious collection which is not only beautiful but also extremely accessible and affordable for our customers.’

‘I love everything about lingerie, I’ve always had a thing for it,’ she said. ‘It is completely feminine, it’s something for women, it’s ours and it’s a little secret,’ said Rosie.

Yet another large milestone in the 25 year old’s life is a new home in the Hollywood Hills with boyfriend, Jason Statham. She and British actor Jason, 44, have been dating since April 2010 and may be thinking about starting a family soon as Rosie recently revealed that she thinks motherhood will be a role in her life. During an interview with Elle magazine, she said: ‘I always see myself working, but definitely being a mum will be a big part of me. Look, I think my career is very self-indulgent. It’s all about me. I’m not a doctor, I’m not looking after people, I’m not saving children. I’m in the entertainment business. I’m a model. I’m an actress. So it is very self-involved. I think there is naturally a point where you think, ‘I don’t care about myself as number one any more.’ I want to care about other things.’

I’m sure that will be one gorgeous family!

Earlier this month Rosie was spotted for yet another Vogue photo shoot. On Saturday (December 8) in Palmdale, California. She tweeted, “My set for the day….#VOGUE @ Four Aces Movie Set,” Rosie tweeted, with a picture of the gas station. “Magic hour in Palmdale #VOGUESHOOT.” As always she looked stunning, dressed in casual clothing but with full hair and make-up ahead of her shoot. She was sporting a black leather jacket over a matching top, along with skinny jeans. She topped that off with a pair of western style brown ankle boots, which were embellished with beads and fringing.

The actress shared photos of the motel set on Instagram and Twitter, as well as a stunning snap of herself while taking a break. She appeared to be dressed in a fur-trimmed jacket and had a beautiful black choker around her neck.

And I am sure we will see more and more from this genetically blessed beauty!

Why did you become a photographer?

This is an interesting question as I was back home visiting family and ran into some old friends who were doing promotional modeling and I though, I could run a business like this. So I started one, but as life hands you situations, I needed to get a day job which ended up in Virginia. Giving up the Promotional Modeling Business was hard but I wanted to stay in the industry. I thought, “What can I do in the industry that’s portable?” The answer was photography.

I went out and bought a nice camera and posted a craigslist ad that read: “I want to be a photographer, but really don’t know what I’m doing. The pictures will probably suck, so whoever wants to shoot for an hour, I’ll give you $50 for your time.”

I had a number of responses and chose a girl who had been modeling for a while and got some great shots. I was hooked and the rest is history.

Do you shoot all types of genres or only, ‘hot babes’?

          While “hot babes” is my preference, I have shot, jewelry, clothing companies, weddings, receptions, engagements and real estate.

Titles:  Photographer. My Motto is, “Sexy not Slutty” and I like to throw in the fact that I can make all your Ex’s kick themselves for not treating you right and hanging on to you.

What have been your top 3 favorite/ most exciting photo shoots?

• Shooting 12 Hooters Bikini shows over a 2 week period
• Shooting 18 girls over a weekend at an LA Mansion
• Basically anytime I discover a girl and do her first shoot while she’s new and trying to learn, then watching her grow and seeing her success.

How many cameras do you own? Just one. It’s served me well and it’s all I need.

What advice would you give to an aspiring photographer?

          I would tell them the same thing that I was told when I first started. Before my first shoot, I knew a girl who did some modeling and I asked her, “Even if I don’t turn out to be any good at this, how can I separate myself from other photographers where girls will want to shoot with me and refer me to their friends?”

I expected a response like, take great photos, get them published, paid work etc. What she told me surprised me and they are the 2 things I live by and I attribute my success to. It’s what I share with any up-and-coming photographer.

She said:

• Get the photos back to girls (clients) quickly.
• Don’t be a creeper.

It seriously has worked amazingly well.

What advice would you give to an aspiring model?

          Try out different styles, from swimwear/glam/lingerie to fashion, commercial, fitness etc. The best models are those who are comfortable with what they are shooting. Just because you paid for a boob job doesn’t mean you have to shoot swimwear. A lot of girls have trouble with the “sexy face” and struggle for success. Try commercial, smiling, holding a cup of coffee with a scarf. It might turn out that your pearly whites are what sets you apart from others and where you find your success.

After dabbling in a few styles, look at your pics and see what you like best. How does the camera capture you best and where are you most comfortable? Then hone in on that genre and shoot shoot shoot! Keep putting yourself out there!

At the age of 22, you have already done so much as a model, what has been your favorite job, most exciting?

I loved my recent photo shoot for Maxim Magazine; I’m so excited to see my spread on newsstands!

What agency are you represented by?

In San Diego, Zarzar models does a wonderful job of representing me. I also work with a few other model managers throughout Southern California and directly with clients to get bookings.

You just finished college, right? What is your degree in?

–          Yes, my degree was in Psychology. I am still planning on attending graduate school some time soon, but modeling is keeping me so busy, I’m really happy pursuing that for the time being.

What are your goals in the entertainment industry?

Right now I do a lot of promotions and hosting events, and I am so excited to be working more closely with my print agency to get more into the fashion industry and do more catalog, editorial, photo shoot work.

Have you done any runway modeling?

 I just did a runway show at a charity gala this past weekend for Christian Siriano, the winner of project runway. His gowns were absolutely stunning, and can probably claim the prize for the most amazing gown I’ve worn thus far.

What is your favorite makeup brand?

I love MAC eye colors, Too Faced for contouring, and Jane Iredale for the every day natural look.

What is your favorite hair care tip?

Lots of conditioner!

You are so gorgeous without makeup and I’ve often seen you doing promo work with very light makeup on and you look so great! What is your skin care regimen?

 Thank you! I am obsessive with washing my face morning and night, I use my clarisonic, and I try to take off my make up as soon as possible and go as long as possible without wearing makeup. Sufficient sleep, exercise, healthy diet, and lots of water are also very important for keeping that healthy glow.

What beauty product can you not leave home without?

No matter what, I always have chapstick. Chapped dry lips never look OK.

What is the best part of your job? The worst?

The best part of my job is the variety, I am always tackling new challenges, meeting new people, and seeing new places. I love that no two days of my job are the same. The worst part of my job is the creepy people and exhaustion from working long hours with lots of travel involved.

Yes, travel… so where is the coolest place that your job has ever taken you?

Daytona Beach Florida was a lot of fun! I hope to go somewhere like the Bahamas or Brazil for an amazing shoot on the beach at some point.

What advice would you give to aspiring models?

I would tell them to always stick by their morals, people will only give you the respect you deserve if you have respect for yourself. I feel that I have been so successful in my career because I bring God there with me.

Reuben Dixon is an awesome Picture Taker, Graphic Designer, Web Site Maker, Duke of Awesomeness at Glamtography, and now a Makeup Maker at Event Makeup. Reuben started out as a friend, then a photographer who was hiring Event Makeup for his photo shoots, and now works for my company, Event Makeup! I personally know what a great guy he is and so I think everyone else should too! Read below to get to know him a little better and see his picture taking abilities!

A little more than 7 years ago, Reuben took his first “real” set of photos. If it involves a camera and taking a photo, he loves doing it: glamour, fashion, weddings, landscape, architectural, products, etc. Recently, a friend walked him through the basics of applying makeup. So before shoots, he started practicing on the models and learned that he also has an addiction (passion) for makeup. “Makeup seems to come very naturally and even a little easy to me, maybe it is because I have done extensive makeup in Photoshop or that I stay up into the wee hours of the morning watching YouTube videos,” he said.

Why did you decide on photography? Honestly? For the girls. A friend said she wanted to take some modeling pictures and I thought that would be fun. So I bought a camera and starting taking pictures of everything.

What is RedLips clothing all about and what part do you play in that brand? We are a dress and bikini clothing company making the sexiest, eye-catching clothes around. When you want to wear something that every other girl in the club isn’t wearing, you come to us. Depending on my mood and how much free time I have I do everything from manage the Web Site, take photos, recruit new models, sell clothes, etc.

What have been your top 3 favorite/ most exciting photo shoots? OOhhh, good question.

1) My first time shooting for Louis Vuitton

2) Shooting a 40^th birthday party with a budget well into the six figures

3) Shoot with The Diamond Dozen models for Kandyland bikinis that ended up on the back cover of Lowrider Girls and was my first national magazine publication

Where are you from? Everywhere. Illinois, Tennessee, Maryland, California Bay Area, and now San Diego.

How many cameras do you own? Not including my iPhone and iPad, four. Canon 5DmkIII, 5DmkII, 50D, and 20D.

I know you have two cats, what kinds and what are their names? They are Selkirk Rex cats and brothers from the same litter. Pancake and Lion-O (from the Thundercats)

What got you interested in makeup? Originally, I wanted to learn more about makeup so that I could become better about adding makeup in Photoshop. Turns out, I like doing “Photoshop live”! It has been great because now, I can create the looks I want and make sure the makeup is done specifically for the camera.

What about Event Makeup appealed to you as an artist? Well, Event Makeup was actually my preferred vendor for hair and makeup before I started doing makeup myself (and they still are!). If I am doing a big shoot I will still use them for hair and makeup. So it seemed like a natural fit for me to work for them!

What advice would you give to an aspiring photographer? Take LOTS of pictures. Then take some more. Personally, I think that it is good to have taken photos of different styles/genres. It is kind of like cross-training in sports. I have been able to apply glamour-style lighting to my wedding photos and use interaction techniques that I learned from doing romantical, engagement shoots to be able to build a good photographic connection with models.

Mindy Robinson, while in San Diego recently sat down with me for an exclusive interview! She is an actress/model/comedian/reality star based out of L.A. She also stopped by Event Makeup for costume makeup and a Halloween themed shoot with Rueben Dixon of Glamtography!

What age did you enter the entertainment industry & what was your first ‘gig’?

I started acting a year and a half ago when I accidentally fell into my first role in the movie Mansion of Blood. I continued to book gigs and ended up moving to Hollywood in June last year.

How did you get into the entertainment industry?

I was a nerdy kid most of my life, I wasn’t quite a looker. But charisma and confidence and learning how to present myself over the years has allowed me to create a special niche for myself in the community.

What advice would you give an aspiring model/actress/etc?

Perfection is bland, having imperfections is what it takes to get noticed and remembered in the industry. And stop taking advice from people that aren’t successful themselves, lol.

Take Me Out, Celebridate, Millionaire Matchmaker, Excused, Who Wants to Date a Comedian, Tosh.O, The Haunting of Whaley House, Killjoy Goes to Hell, American Lie, Chicks Dig Gay Guys, Lizzie Borden’s Revenge, Bloodsucka Jones, and numerous other shows films and music videos.

Where were you born?

Fall River, MA. East coast baby!

Did you have any models/ actresses that you looked up to as a child?

I always had a fascination with Mariah Carey. She was always reinventing her image to be current and fresh, but always stayed true to her own style. I know she’s a singer, but I loved looking at every photo I could get a hold on.

Where have you traveled to in the world?

I’ve had the pleasure of traveling to Japan, India and Thailand…still…my favorite place is Maui.

You’ve had such a diverse career from model to actress to everything. Can you tell us about your most recent project?

I’m always balancing promoting new projects that are coming out, filming new content, and auditioning for future work…I guess my most recent project would be the “3:00 am Show” that airs on KDOC as a series cast member. I’ve got some great characters in that, lol. I’m also booked to film supporting roles in a new Discovery channel show and 3 different features next month already.

Which do you enjoy more, modeling or acting?

Modeling’s cool when you get to see yourself in an add, romance novel cover or poster, I’m always like “wow, is that really me?” lol But I love acting, especially comedy and getting to watch and hear everyone’s reaction to it. It’s what I’ve been dreaming about all my life and never knew was within my reach the whole time.

Do you have a favorite celebrity? Anyone in particular you would like to work with in the future?

I always had a crush on Cary Elwes from The Princess Bride, I worked on the movie Feed The Dog as featured background and although I got to be in scenes with Selena Gomez, Elisabeth Shue and Dylon McDermott….he wasn’t there on the days I filmed, boo.

Have you always had this outgoing tv-ready personality?

Um…yea. Comedy runs through me…I have this twisted sense of humor I can’t hold back. I’m glad that I finally get to put it to some use.

Dating anyone?

Perpetually dating. Aside from the 6 dating shows I’ve done this year…I’ve learned that guys probably think I’m pretty hot until I start talking about all kinds of inappropriate things and jokes.

If not, describe your ideal guy:

I don’t know anymore, I might be hopeless at this point lol

Your body is amazing, what do you do to stay so fit?

I’m kind of a garbagevore…I hate healthy food so to stay skinny I have to cut back on the portion size of almost every meal.

What is your favorite junk meal?

Funyuns and chocolate milk

You seem to always be camera ready, what beauty tips or products have you picked up during your career that you swear by?

I’ve never smoked, I think it’s the unhealthiest thing you can do to your skin, I’ve seen so many 20 year old girls that look older than me and thought that I was younger than them. I also drink water instead of soda…no need to consume extra calories just to wash down a meal.

As a model, there must be a lot of pressure to always look made up. What is your morning beauty routine?

You can probably get through a basic day with just foundation and mascara…and sunblock, I’ve been wearing it since high school. I only feel naked not wearing makeup at night.

What beauty products do you make sure you don’t leave home without?

I like having pressed powder, just brushing it on my face makes me feel clean and new again. And Visine….after a long day I still can’t afford to look tired.

Lipstick or lip gloss?

Lipstick for photos, lip gloss for everyday wear, something fruity.

What is your favorite clothing designer?

Guess and Bebe, they’re sexy and classy and usually age appropriate.

You’re currently based out of LA right? When you come to San Diego, what are your favorite places to go (restaurants, beach spots, shopping, clubs, etc?) Besides Event Makeup of course ;):

I can’t go to SD and not stop by to see my hommies at Pacers, I’ve even brought my mom in there. I’ll never be ashamed of having been a topless dancer, I’ve made so many good friends over the years and it always feels like family.

You know I’m going to say Rueben Dixon….he made looking dead look sexy, lol.

I know you work closely with many photographers but if you had to choose one, who is your favorite?

Oh no, that’s like asking me which one of my cats is my favorite. In no particular order I’ll give props to my 3 favs, Mike Prado, Michael Bell and Reuben Dixon.

What is your beauty routine at night?

Clean face, a self tanning moisturizer, and my mouth retainer….on the nights I just don’t pass out on my bed at least.

What do you sleep in, favorite type of pj’s?

T shirt and panties…in the winter I have to wear fluffy socks, I just can’t sleep with cold feet.
