Summer Fashion Trends 2014

As Memorial Day soon approaches, this marks the days of Summertime approaching and with Summer right around the corner you’ll want to make sure your wardrobe is just as hot as those sweltering days.

Iridescence was a big trend to hit the runway during fashion week.  Now, if a holographic dress or skirt isn’t your thing add a little iridescence to your outfit by adding a clutch instead.

Always timeless and classy, black and White have made a huge comeback.  Marc by Marc Jacobs has designed a must have white cardigan for those chilly Summer nights.  This cutout cardigan features an edgy mesh-like detail with a bold twist.  Pair your cardigan with a black leather mini and some patent leather flats.

Thinking of putting a sweatshirt on to go to the gym?  No, no ladies, luxe sweatshirts are IN this season.  Sweatshirts got a makeover.  Kenzo’s round collar logo sweatshirt with rhinestone detailing would look great paired with a short pleated skirt.

Suits are timeless. This Summer we spice things up a bit.  Coordinate your suit with bold colors like red and royal blue.  Mango’s houndstooth print suit gives you just the edge you need.

An athletic trend was spotted on the runway. Everything from baseball caps to tennis inspired dresses and varsity jackets. Pair them however you like.  I love J. Crew’s colorblock wool baseball cap it’s very versatile.

Last, but not least geometric prints graced the runway.  Everything from grids, triangles, concentric circles and much more.  I love Elizabeth and James Argon jacquard body-con dress, stretch cotton made up with contrasting geometric panels.
