Grace Coddington Book Signing: “Grace: A Memoir”
“Grace: A Memoir”
Grace Coddington was recently seen at her book signing for, “Grace: A Memoir,” at Browns on South Molton Street in London this week. Grace became a British Vogue editor in 1969, before traveling to NYC in 1987 to become a design director at Calvin Klein, to then join American Vogue in 1988. The book covers Coddington’s early life in Wales, her modeling career back in the 60′s, and the unfortunate car accident that changed her career path that led her to the American Vogue where she works today.

Grace Coddington signed copies of her book, “Grace: A Memoir,” upstairs at Browns on South Molton Street in London this week.
On the day of the signing, you would have thought a new iPhone was being released because a couple hours before her signing even started fans were covering the streets outside. Her books sold out within hours.
You can also get to know the creative director at American Vogue in the documentary, “The September Issue” which came out in 2009, which showed the making of the September 2007 Issue of American Vogue. See some of my favorite clips below from that issue.
