It’s time to say Happy Birthday to Miss Britney Spears today, as she turns 31.
With a #1 single on itunes with Will.i.am, Britney Spears is no doubt having a great birthday and even a great year. After her new music video, called “Scream and Shout” showed on the X Factor last Wednesday, the single jumped to number one on iTunes. It came out 
earlier this month but once the fans of X Factor heard the hit, it caught fire! The song will be released on Will.i.am’s upcoming fourth album, “Will Power,” due out in stores in 2013. This past May Britney also finally signed a reportedly $17 million contract to become a judge on the X Factor. I’d say, it’s been a good year. Although, last year’s birthday may be hard to top as the pop star did receive a 4 carat round cut diamond from Jason Trawick, Spears’ longtime boyfriend and former agent.
Another plus for Britney is that her legal trouble has finally come to an end. Although the troubles of that period of time is evident in her looks, at least the tabloid extravaganza of her shoplifting and her running around with a shaved head is over. The judge recently dismissed the defamation case against Spears by Sam Lutfi. Now she can focus on her kids, her job, and her man. 🙂
